My idea of a perfect weekend would be: Getting locked in the Warrington Hotel, Maida Vale.

Best Moment: Any time now

Most Embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you: I once had to pick up Duran Duran tickets from Wembley box office, for a mate.

Hobbies: Music, computery

Pets: None at present, but a robin pops into the garden every day.

Previous bands before joining BNM: Riff Cliche & The rebel Trousers, Bushfire Fairy Tales, Jackhammer (All the same band actually)

What makes you really mad?: Political correctness

What do you think about dress-down days? Excellent. Dress-up days should be special.

Favourite planet: Vulcan

Your favourite place and the place you would most like to visit if you had the chance?

The Greek Islands. Cape Canaveral, Florida

Someone you admire: Frank Zappa - a prince amongst men

 If you won £1000, how would you spend it? On a Warwick Corvette, bubinga, active version

 Favourite item of clothing: Timberland moccasins

What musical instruments/equipment are you currently using on stage and/or in the studio?  The fender jazz bass is still the one I'm most comfortable with, but also rather like the new Aria INTEGRA IGB 65 STNA Natural (see Blue No More  News)

Roland SP505 - great for sample sound effects. Korg Electribe MX - great for electronic sound effects, ditto Kaos II. Still looking for ideal bass effects pedal.

What are your musical influences? Beatles, Beefheart, Jaco Pastorius, Weather Report, Zappa and all things electronic

Do you have an all time favourite track or album? Beethoven's Ninth - Walter/Wendy Carlos' version from A Clockwork Orange

Any words of wisdom for other musicians? Listen carefully. Know trash when you hear it and decide if that's OK or not.

My idea of a perfect weekend would be: Saturday followed by Sunday

What musical instruments/equipment are you currently using on stage and/or in the studio? Main kit - Yamaha Custom Absolute Birch/Maple (Vintage). Cymbals - Zildjian K's, Customs and As. Toca cowbell. Tama Rhythmwatch 100 tapbox. Pearl Rhythm Traveller Mesh Head practice kit at home.

What are your musical influences?  Ian Paice (Deep Purple), Steve White (Paul Weller), Ringo. Also much respect for Buddy Rich, John Bonham and Animal

Favourite music:  My tastes are very eclectic - yes I like rock, blues and pop but I also like folk, folk rock, chillout, dance music, world music and Easy Listening.  I'm highly allergic however to Country and Western and Trad Jazz.     

Favourite film: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, The Italian Job.

Favourite Food and Drink: Cheese and Pimms

My idea of a perfect weekend would be: Surfing with Ange

Best Moment:  In terms of significance, 'The Big Bang' takes some beating.

Most Embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you:   Passing out in a curry house one New Years Eve, also not realising what Ange's Dad really meant by 'a swift half' 

Hobbies: Music, surfing, skiing, delivering chocolates

Pets:  An ancient black labrador called Dillon

Favourite planet: Earth, the surf is better

Can you recite any poetry? Only if I've learned it first

Your favourite place and the place you would most like to visit if you had the chance? My bed at 4 o'clock in the morning

Someone you admire: Lord Randolph Pimms from cult '60's TV series 'The Procrastinators' (he's something of a role model)

 If you won £1000, how would you spend it? Get a couple of long-boards and head off to Saunton in Devon

 Favourite item of clothing: Anything with Paul Smith or Versace on the label, or a wetsuit

What musical instruments/equipment are you currently using on stage and/or in the studio? Fender Stratocaster, Epiphone Gibson SG copy, Marshall Valvestate 2000 AVT 100, Boss DD-5 digital delay, tambourine,  ego

(I have the distinction of being the only guitarist on the planet who struggles to get a decent tone from the classic rock combination of Stratocaster and Marshall.)  

What are your musical influences?  The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Damned, Show of Hands, Burt Bacharach, Bowie, James Last, Kylie

Do you have an all time favourite track or album?  Not really, it depends on my mood.  However, as a sample I do like Shine on You Crazy Diamond (Floyd), The Look of Love (Dusty Springfield), Love Is Blue (Paul Mauriat),  Elizabethan Serenade (James Last), Rodrigo's  Concierto de Aranjuez - II Adagio.
