BLUE NO MORE NEWS
Here's your chance to catch-up with all that is (or isn't) happening in Blue No More land.
New Gig Dates Announced
Blue No More have released details of their Autumn tour (of Reading). For more details, please go to the gigs page.
Sponsorship deal
Blue No More have agreed a sponsorship deal with local women's football team the Thames All Blacks. These lucky women will be proudly proclaiming their allegiance to the band every time they don their kit. For more information about the All Blacks check out their website at:

A Blue No More spokesman said 'We're over the moon about this. We wish the All Blacks the best of luck for the season ahead'.
Return to 'The Pond House'
Blue No More appeared again at 'The Pond House', Oxford Road, Reading, on Saturday 16th April. The band stormed through a well -received two part set, ably assisted on backing vocals by Winnersh-based diva Lesley Daniow. Steve and Darren from 'Vision' provided a top quality PA system and skilful sound engineering know-how.

Let There Be More Light
Blue No More have recently acquired a set of stage lights for gigs. The lighting rig is fitted with a cunning mechanism that automatically flashes the lights in response to bass frequencies - thus potentially giving Dave Shephard an inordinate amount of influence over who gets to be illuminated and when. A band insider, who has seen the lights in action, confirmed that Pink Floyd have absolutely nothing to worry about.
Studio Session
In February, Blue No More returned to the studio to cut tracks for their latest EP, the aptly titled 'It's Been A While...' . This is the first studio recording since the classic ' No Sleep 'til Charvil' session in March 2003. Sources close to the band have confirmed that the EP includes the bluesy 'My Dogs Gone and Left Me' and the blues/rock/reggae/ambient fusion that is 'Two Worlds, One Planet' - these tracks have previously been aired live and will therefore be familiar to die hard fans (both of you). However, in the continuing absence of a worldwide music distribution deal, the band is set to retain its underground status.
Blue No More Bass Player in Award Shock
Dave Shephard, bassist with Blue No More and a man rarely lost for words, actually profited from his opinions last year when he became the winner of Bass Guitar Magazine's Star Letter prize. In Issue 15 of his favourite mag - the 'Funk Edition' - he eloquently suggested that the world of bass playing and perhaps music in general, might benefit from a return to simplicity. Dave received his prize at the end of February and he is now the proud owner of a new Aria Active bass with five (count 'em) knobs on.
